PG&T (Pea Gin & Tonic)

Ingredients

Scale

PEA SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 1 cup chopped peas/pods
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar

 

COCKTAIL

  • 1.5 oz. pea simple syrup
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces tonic
  • ice
  • a pea for garnish

Instructions

PEA SIMPLE SYRUP

  • Add water, sugar, and peas to a pan.
  • Bring to boil, then immediately pull off the burner.
  • Allow to come to room temperature, and strain out peas and pods.

 

COCKTAIL

  • Shake pea simple syrup and gin a shaker.
  • Pour over ice in a Collins glass.
  • Top with tonic.
  • Garnish with a pea.
