PG&T (Pea Gin & Tonic)
PEA SIMPLE SYRUP
- 1 cup chopped peas/pods
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
COCKTAIL
- 1.5 oz. pea simple syrup
- 2 ounces gin
- 4 ounces tonic
- ice
- a pea for garnish
PEA SIMPLE SYRUP
- Add water, sugar, and peas to a pan.
- Bring to boil, then immediately pull off the burner.
- Allow to come to room temperature, and strain out peas and pods.
COCKTAIL
- Shake pea simple syrup and gin a shaker.
- Pour over ice in a Collins glass.
- Top with tonic.
- Garnish with a pea.
